Tonight, I’m gonna bring back a little something that once accompanied my Goo-Net Showdowns, the Goo-Net Challenge.
Basically, it’s where everyone who wishes to participate goes on

and searches for a car that matches specific criteria. The car that gets the most likes wins.
For tonight, the challenge is simple: Find a car listed for under ¥100,000 (sales tax included). No other restrictions, but I must warn, there are many cars listed on there for prices in just hundreds of yen (which are likely incorrectly listed), even some listed for ¥0. Try to avoid those, please.
Good luck, and happy hunting (and voting)!

They used to have a specific section of the site for cars under 100,000 yen, but apparently, they got rid of it.

I really wanted a Toyota Crown, but all of the models at this price range had cloth seats or no airbags. I eventually settled for the next best thing.

Toyota Progrès. This is the 3.0 model, which means it had a 2JZ - and it’s got the right options and good enough condition for me to approve. Great little luxury sports saloon.
